It is designed for use in acute medicine as well as in the pre-hospital environment. The Infunix patient monitor is powered by an internal battery that typically provides three hours monitoring from fully charged battery. The monitoring screen is a color LCD that shows all graphic and numeric patient information as well as status conditions and warning messages.

It provides a RS-232 connection and nurse call interface. IP-1020 is ideal for the health center or surgery where it can be easily mounted on a shelf. The battery is continuously recharged when the pulse oximeter is connected to AC power source.
