The Fume Adsorber-2 with Organic Carbon Filter is geared for light duty histology cover slipping and staining areas. Activated carbon media adsorb organic odors and noxious vapors released by solvents like xylene and toluene while clean air is recirculated into the laboratory. The enclosure is low profile, completely portable and requires no ductwork. It easily accommodates shallow countertops or those with overhanging cabinets.

The Protector Work Station with Built-In Blower is specifically designed for the needs of pathologists and histo technologists. Like a traditional fume hood, the enclosure has a front air foil and rear baffle to direct the inflow air across the work area and away from the operator. Ideal for cramped or crowded labs, the Protector Work Station has a low profile so they fit easily under standard upper cabinets.

Purifier Filtered PCR Enclosures direct HEPA-filtered air downward over the work area to provide ISO Class 5 (formerly Class 100) conditions and protect your work from particulate contamination. These specialized vertical clean benches provide a controlled environment in which to perform polymerase chain reaction experiments. These enclosures include a variable digital timer that provides UV light exposure continuously or in user-selected increments of 5, 10, 15, 30, 60, 120 or 240 minutes to deactivate DNA and RNA contaminants. When the set time expires, the UV light automatically switches off in preparation for the next experiment.

The Protector XStream I-S Laboratory Hood takes containment, safety and energy savings to the extreme. With integrated sash position blower controls, the hood was designed for use with Intelli-Sense Multi-Speed Blowers. As the sash is raised or lowered, sensors alert the blower to change speeds to maintain a safe face velocity. That face velocity is displayed on the factory-installed Guardian Digital Airflow Monitor for users’ peace of mind.
