Centrifugal Concentrator
Vivacon 500 ETO

The Vivacon 500 ETO centrifugal concentrator enables rapid concentration of DNA and PCR primer removal for samples up to 500 µl volume and uses low-binding Hydrosart regenerated cellulose membranes positioned horizontally for optimal results in these applications. It can be used in micro-centrifuges with fixed angle rotors accepting 2.2 ml centrifuge tubes and also allows reverse spinning of samples for simplified recovery.

The BJP 10 benchtop static concentrator enables the concentration of clinical samples up to 10 ml in volume and can operate without a centrifuge. The BJP 20 Static Concentrator offers a fast, gentle and convenient method to concentrate multiple clinical samples for analyses by electrophoresis and immunofixation. It performs a 100 fold concentration of 10 ml urine in 50 min. The hands-off operation allows the operator time to continue with other analyses in a busy laboratory environment while the device is left unattended to concentrate the urine samples. The impermeable dead stop pocket prevents the urine sample from concentrating to dryness.

The Xpress MD1000 Mini Dialyzer is designed for processing large quantities of samples for fast and efficient purification of protein, RNA and DNA samples. It is delivered ready-to-use in a 48 deep well plate with 8 sample cartridges where each cartridge has six single sample segments. The segments can also be easily separated to test single samples. Its patented design allows 48 samples and dialysate buffers to be loaded and removed from the top of the device without removing the cartridges. The MD1000 may be used with common single and multi-channel pipettes as well as automated liquid handling systems, and is compatible with the SBS microplate standard.
