Burlington Medical’s Half Apron is used for protecting the lower portion of the body of either the physician or the patient and can also be laid on top of the patient like a blocker. The PS PTO-004 is a mobile barrier with lead curtain that can be easily placed anywhere near the patient to provide ultimate protection during an exam. The 45 degrees of rotation allows the shield to be fitted into exam rooms of any size, and a powder-coated alloy construction makes it corrosion resistant.

Mobile Porta Shield

The Mobile Porta Shield is a mobile radiation protection shield covered with a stain-resistant, washable nylon fabric that sits on a heavy-duty, five-castor base which offers a sturdy 24-inch diameter, to ensure smooth and stable transportation around the room. It comes in three parts, for quick and easy assembly, with the adjustable telescoping pole allowing the shield height to be set by the user. The top of the shield can be as low as 36 inches, or as high as 56 inches. The drape is available in three lengths and has 0.5 millimeter or .35 millimeter lead equivalency for medical X-ray protection.
